New things for Ariella

I have been having fun showing Ariella new things! First up finger paint (the no mess way)

Emmaline Joy one month!

Emmaline is a joyful little newborn. I have enjoyed spending a lot of time snuggling with my little one.
At 18 days she weighed 7lbs 15 oz almost a ounce a day!


We have been working on her eat, awake and sleep cycle and she is taking to it like a pro!  At 5 weeks she has started sleeping 5 hour chunks at night and then going right back down and sleeping 3or 4 hours more! Her morning nap is really solid and she sleep the whole cycle! She has been finishing her afternoon nap in the swing.

She nurses really fast! She can be done in under 10 mintues with both sides. I have been pumping about once a day and can get up to 5 ounce on one side!

At 6 weeks we saw our midwifes for the last time (till my next pregnancy Lord willing) she weighed 9lbs 11ounces. I just moved her up to 3 month clothes (it such a bitter sweet thing).


Emmaline loves giving smiles and is starting to coo and laugh! She loves Mr. sunshine (her play mat) like Ariella did.

Working on tummy time and taking good afternoon naps!
